Children can participate in the contest from home. All participants will get participation e-certificate.

Submission Period

December 12, 2021 to January 16, 2022

Who Can Participate?

Any child between 4 to 10 years of age.

Anyone, including non-Kaniyan students are invited to participate.

Honor Code: Please be advised that parents are not allowed to help their children with the drawing of their submission. Help from a parent is considered cheating. Any child suspected of cheating will be automatically disqualified from the competition.

What Is The Process

1. Submission of Artwork. Dec 12, 2021 to Jan 16, 2022

Participants are to download & print the Artwork template  PDF from here  and submit their artwork according to the theme and no later than the indicated deadline. Submissions can be made online here in the same page.

2. Screening.  Jan 20, 2022 to Jan 31, 2022

Preliminary Round: Judges will select the first round winners and submit the artworks for the final round.

Final Round : Judges will select the global finalists from the first round winners.

3. Winners Finalized. Feb 1, 2022 to Feb 15, 2022

Winners will be privately contacted by a Kaniyan Tamil Academy representative. Winners will be publicly announced in 3rd Week of February.

4. Winners Awarded. Last week of February (TBD)

Submission of Artwork

Tips to upload your artwork:-

  • Use a high resolution camera (5 megapixels or higher is best, however 2 megapixels at the highest resolution will also work).
  • Use indirect light to minimize glare.
  • Take the photo as straight on as possible to prevent distortion and hold as still as possible.
  • Check your image for blurriness and make sure it is clear.
